Managing Board lifts annual forecast

Laupheim, May 12, 2006. Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG, the global marketleader in slope maintenance and beach cleaning, increased consolidated sales inthe first six months of fiscal year 2005/2006 (October 2005 to March 2006) byaround 13% year-on-year to €156.1 million (previous year: €138.2 million).Consolidated net income for the period, at €22.2 million, also significantly exceededthe previous year's €19.6 million. Consequently, the Managing Board today lifted itsforecast for fiscal year 2005/2006. Due to the strongly seasonal nature of thebusiness, sales activity in the second half of the fiscal year is normally very low. TheManaging Board thus expects a clear increase in consolidated sales of around 10%to over €180 million for fiscal year 2005/2006 (previous year: €164.6 million).Consolidated net income is likely to grow at a faster rate than sales (previous year:€10.6 million).
